My Year

Well, it has been forever since I last posted, and I am getting some flack about it.. so here it goes :)

This year, 2008, has been pretty crazy! There have been so many good times, as well as some bad. The biggest events that stick out in my mind actually start in the summer. I still work at the pool, and really enjoy it. I have so many great friends there. I got to go to Moab with my friend Annie and her family, which was a blast! That trip made me realize that there are so many places and so many things that I want to do in my life. Here are some of them:

1. Travel and try new things!
2. Go to the Grand Canyon (it might sound lame, but I want to go!)
3. Scuba Dive
4. Kayak
5. Rock Climb
6. Go to New Zealand and Australia
7. Go to Alaska
8. River rafting
9. Yellowstone baby!
10. Boating

Hopefully I can do some of these things throughout my life time. The next thing that comes to mind when I reflect on this year is, of course, my trip to Disneyland! Who wouldn't love a trip to Disneyland?? I am definitely a fan :) As far as school goes, I was very blessed to make it into the University of Utah Singers. What a great experience this has been! We get to travel to Europe next May, and I am so excited! I had a very busy semester, with 18 credit hours, but luckily I managed to get a 4.0! The Lord has truly blessed me.

One interesting thing about the end of my year has been dating again. How weird!!! I am not used to getting phone calls or questions about going out. Rochelle, my boss and friend, is now my dating counselor! I hope she really enjoys how much I will be bugging her about boys!! The holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) have been especially great this year. I absolutely love being with my family! I am so grateful for my family, and for the good friends that I have. Everyone has really helped me out this year with the many trials that I have faced. Thank you. I am so grateful for the many blessings that I have in my life. I am grateful for the spirit of peace that I have felt throughout the last month. I am grateful for our Lord, Jesus Christ, and that we are able to celebrate his birth. I hope that I can remember what I have learned from this year, and make next year even better!
